Routing: Arusha- Grumeti - Arusha.
Day 1: Arrival Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge, a small hotel located on a working coffee plantation on the outskirts of Arusha.
Day 2: Flight Arusha to Grumeti
Morning transfer to Arusha airport to board a morning schedule flight to Singita Grumeti Reserves. On arrval Sasakwa airstrip a representative from the lodge will meet you for your transfer to the lodge.
Reminiscent of a bygone era, Sabora Tented Camp dishes up lavish doses of romance, exploration and intrigue. Creating the feel of a lavish tent, each canvas cocoon offers opulent luxury complete with antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs and silk curtains. Sip sundowners on the deck and gaze over the waterhole - you never know what you might see. At Sabora, we delight in creating delicious feasts using locally grown organic produce, coupled with vintage wines, in surprise settings. Imagine dining beneath a lamp-lit acacia or under the boughs of a large ‘Sausage’ tree, with starlit skies and the distant chorus of nocturnal creatures. Dinner and overnight at Sabora Tented Camp.
Day 3, 4 and 5: Days in Singita Grumeti Reserves
Spend your day exploring wild open spaces, see the last great herds of buffalo in East Africa. Take part in any of the activities offered at the lodge, namely; game drives and walks with professional guides. archery, lawn croquet, badminton, star-gazing safaris and mountain biking are all available
Singita Grumeti Reserves is located in northern Tanzania and forms part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, bordering on the Serengeti National Park. The Singita Grumeti Reserves concession spans a vast 350 000 acres (140 000 hectares) of relatively untouched wilderness. Singita Grumeti Reserves is located on the western corridor of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The absence of fencing allows the migration of game between the park and the concession. The reserve is home to varying habitats including open plains, rugged rocky outcrops, woodlands and riverine forests. All meals at Sabora Tented Camp.
Day 6: Flight Sasakwa to Arusha
Board a schedule flight back to Arusha. On arrival at Arusha airstrip, pick up and transfer either to Kilmanjaro airport for on ward flights or to your hotel
