Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Flight Mombasa to Maasai Mara
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Maasai Mara. You fly past Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro and across the Rift Valley and arrive the Maasai Mara in the mid-morning.

Pick up from the airstrip and transfer to the lodge for lunch. After lunch there is a game drive in the reserve searching for Elephant, Bufallo, Rhino and the magnificent Black-maned lion. . Maasai Mara’s main attraction is the annual migration, which takes place between July and September. Over a million wildebeest, more than two hundred thousand zebra with their attendant predators cross the Mara River and spread across the plains in a seemingly endless procession. The game drive runs till sunset.

Accommodation is in a comfortable permanent tented camp – Karen Blixen Camp. After dinner at your lodge, relax around the campfire and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the African night full of cries of the wild.

Day 2 and 3: Day in Maasai Mara
At 0630 hours, take your morning coffee and proceed on the early morning game drive running till 0830 hours when you get back to the lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast, further game drive till lunch time. Rest in the early afternoon till 1630 hours when you proceed on the afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Karen Blixen Camp.

Day 4: Flight Maasai Mara to Mombasa
The second day begins with a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive. After breakfast, take another short game drive. Lunch at your lodge / camp. Then transfer to the airport for the flight back to the Kenyan coast. On arrival at the airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Children under 12 years of age, when sharing accommodation with 2 adults, pay 50% of the adult rate.
