Routing: Nairobi-Amboseli - Meru  - Samburu - Masai Mara - Nairobi

Day 1: Flight from Nairobi to Amboseli National park
At 0645 hours, you are picked from your Hotel and transferred to the Wilson Airport. The flight to Amboseli National park takes off from Wilson Airport at 0730 hours and arrive Amboseli Airstrip at 0815 hours.

On arrival at the airstrip, You will be met by Hallmark Travel Planners guide and transferred to the lodge. You have a morning game drive before driving to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax at the lodge till 1630 hours when you begin the afternoon game drive that runs till sunset.

Amboseli National park, essentially a seasonal swamp that is 3810 sq km in size is one of the finest game areas in Kenya. The land is in the Maasai country, a proud nomadic people who have lived in harmony with nature for centuries.

Game viewing is an adventure in this park, with lion, cheetah and buffalo almost an assured sight and hosts of antelope, zebra and other small creatures of the wild. Bird life is abundant. But the most impressive inhabitants of this arid landscape are the elephants, moving in large columns in their daily peregrination to the water. For Safari seekers, Amboseli is ideal for big game photography. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 2: Day in Amboseli
At 0630 hours, take coffee and proceed on the early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Morning game drive for those who wish starts at 1000 hrs till midday. After lunch at the lodge you will have early afternoon at leisure till 1630 hours, time for the game run that goes till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Flight from Amboseli to Nairobi to Meru National Park
After breakfast at the lodge , you will check out and be transferred with a brief game drive en-route to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. The flight departs at 0830 hours and is expected to touch down at Wilson Airport Nairobi 0915 hours. You connect another flight to Meru National park. The flight departs at 0915 hours to arrive Meru airstrip at 1035 hours.

On arrival, you are met by Hallmark Travel Planners guide. With a brief game run, you drive to the lodge to check in. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon relax at the lodge till late afternoon, 1630 hours, time for game drive till sunset.

Kenya’s Meru National Park was made famous by the writings of Joy Adamson, most noted for her book Born Free, the true story of Elsa, the lioness, and her return into the wild.

The park lies in the north-eastern lowlands below the Nyambeni hills. Meru forms part of a larger wilderness area along the Tana River, including Bisanadi and Mwingi National Reserves, Kora national park and Rahole national reserve.  Overnight Elsa's Kopje Lodge.

Day 4: Day in Meru National park
Early morning game drive from 0630hours till 0830 hours. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Further game drive till lunch time. After lunch, afternoon is free till 1630 hours when you go on a game drive till sundown. Dinner and overnight at Elsa's Kopje Lodge.

Day 5: Flight from Meru National park to Samburu
Early morning game drive. Breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to the airstrip. The flight to Samburu Game reserve departs at 1035 hours to arrive Samburu 1100 hours.

You are picked from the airstrip by representative from Hallmark Travel Planners. With a brief game drive, you head for the lodge for lunch. After lunch relax till 1630 hours, time for a game run till dusk.

The tranquil Uaso Nyiro River, flowing through Shaba and Samburu, attract a wide number of rare wildlife and provides a natural habitat for crocodile. Long necked gerenuk, Grevy´s zebra and reticulated giraffe are species not found in the less arid areas to the south. Elephant seek solace and contentment in the shallow waters of this wide sauntering river, fringed with acacia, down palms and tamarind, which together with Buffalo Springs, support a large variety of african mammals, cheetah and leopard being particularly well represented.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or Samburu Intrepids Club.

Day 6: Day in Samburu
At 0630 hours, wake up call followed by coffee. Then you proceed on a game drive till time for breakfast, usually around 0830 hours. After breakfast, you may go on another game drive or just relax by the pool. At 1630 hours, the afternoon game drive departs running till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or Samburu Intrepids Club.

Day 7: Flight Samburu to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, check out of the rooms. With your luggage packed, drive to the airstrip with a brief game drive. The flight back to Massai departs at 0915 hours to arrive Maasai Mara at around 1045 hours. Pick up by the lodge or camp vehicle and transfer to the lodge.  Lunch at the hotel. Relax at the lodge or camp till 1630 hours when you proceed on a game drive till sunset.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel – Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Intrepids Club.

Day 8: Day in Maasai Mara
Early morning game drive starting at 0630 hours. Return to the camp for breakfast. Relax at the lodge till lunch time. At 1630 hours proceed for a game drive in the park till sunset. Dinner and overnight at your hotel – Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Intrepids Club.

Day 9: Game Drive – Flight Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Early morning game drive beginning at 0630 hours. Return to the lodge or camp for breakfast. Further game drive in the Mara till lunchtime. Lunch at the lodge or camp. After lunch, check out of the hotel and depart with a game drive towards the airstrip.

Depart on the afternoon flight from Maasai Mara back to Wilson Airport. On arrival, pick up and transfer either to your hotel or to the airport for your home-bound flight.
