Routing: Nairobi-Amboseli - Nairobi
Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast from your hotel, you will be picked up by Hallmark Travel Planners driver/guide. You leave Nairobi by safari bus driving south towards the Tanzania border through Maasai country. A packed lunch will be served on the way.
On arrival at Amboseli National Park, we shall set up camp. In the late afternoon, from around 1630 hours take a short game drive with very real chance of seeing lions, giraffes and elephants on the very first evening. If the sky is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro will provide a beautiful back-drop. Dinner and accommodation will be provided at the camp.
Day 2: Day in Amboseli National park
We shall take an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast we have the option of a further game drive in Amboseli park, visit a local Maasai village or go to the lodge next door for swimming. Lunch will be provided later back at the camp site or at the lodge. At 1630 hours late afternoon game drive will take place till sunset. This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: Drive from Amboseli to Nairobi or Namanga border
After breakfast we will have time for the game drive before leaving Amboseli National Park for Nairobi. Alternatively, if you intend to continue with a safari in Tanzania, we can drop you off at the Namanga border or Kenya and Tanzania. Lunch will be served en-route and we will arrive back at Nairobi in the afternoon.
