Route in Egypt: Cairo – Baharia Oasis - White Desert - Luxor - Edfu - Aswan – Abu Simbel - Cairo
Route in Kenya: Nairobi - Nakuru - Masai mara - Nairobi
Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Arrive at Cairo Airport where our representative will meet and assist you through customs and then you claim your baggage. You will be transferred to Le Meridiean Pyramids hotel for a free evening. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 2: Day in Cairo
Today you will be transported back to the time of the ancient Egyptians. Our friendly guide will accompany you to the awe-inspiring Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza and then onwards to Sakkara to see the first pyramid ever built - the Step Pyramid of Zosser, back to Le Meridian Pyramids hotel and overnight.
Day 3: Cairo - Baharia Oasis
Depart Cairo by private car to Baharia Oasis. Evening local city tour in Baharyia oasis, Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Baharia Oasis – White desert
An early start this morning after breakfast, to embark on your desert safari. En route to the spectacular White Desert, you will visit the sand dunes, Swiss Tomb, Black Dessert, Crystal Mountain and another oasis before setting up camp for the night in the White dessert in one of the most beautiful areas in Egypt. Overnight at your Desert Camp.
Day 5: White desert -Cairo – Luxor
After breakfast drive back through the desert to Baharia. You will have a local tour of the Oasis visiting the many therapeutic hot and cold springs, The Oasis Gardens, Gebel al Ingleez (and the English House on top), Pyramid Mountain, the many tombs and temples in the city, the Salt Lake (including old Bedouin Houses) and the inspiring Oasis Museum. Start driving back to Cairo, Later that evening you will be transferred to board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan from Cairo and enjoy dinner and breakfast in your own compartment. Day 6: Luxor – Nile Cruise
arrive Luxor, After an early morning start you cross over to the West Bank of Luxor where the Valley of the Kings & Queens, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon awaits you. The check into your cruise boat, afternoon is free to relax or for the energetic perhaps take a visit to the Luxor Museum in your own, overnight on board.
Day 7: Nile cruise
Your Morning tour is to the East Bank of Luxor. Entry is down the avenue of Ram Headed Sphinx to reach the Monumental Temple of Karnak and then continue onto Luxor Temple, start sailing towards esna, cross Esna lock and continue sailing to Edfu, overnight on board the Presidential Nile Cruise.
Day 8: Nile cruise - Aswan
Morning tour to Edfu Temple by horse and carriage. Continue sailing towards Kom Ombo, visit the Greco Roman Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the two gods Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Continue sailing to Aswan, arrive Aswan and overnight on board the Presidential Nile Cruise.
Day 9: Day in Aswan:
Morning your tour starts at the High Dam and its huge lake then take a short ferry ride to the Romantic and Majestic Philae Temple. Tonight you can explore the many bazaars and small streets of Aswan, Overnight on board Presidential Nile Cruise.
Day 10: Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan:
Morning check out from the cruise and drive to Abu Simbel, visit Ramses II Temple, 03 hours driving each way and 02 hours sightseeing in the temple, drive back to Aswan, check into your hotel, free evening and overnight.
Day 11: Aswan – Cairo:
Free morning, afternoon excursion on a traditional felucca to visit Elephantine and Kitchner Island’s. Later that evening you will be transferred to board the overnight sleeper train to Cairo and enjoy dinner and breakfast in your own compartment. Overnight Sleeper Train.
Day 12: Cairo: Evening flight to Nairobi
Arrive in Cairo where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up you will enjoy the legendary treasures of the Egyptian Museum. Take a look at some of the most exquisite and ancient artifacts and statues in history. Then see the Islamic areas of Cairo including the Citadel of Saladdin - boasting the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Then onto the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon which is built over the ruins of two towers of the fortress the church of St Mary or more commonly known as the Hanging Church, followed by St Sergius which is said to be the resting place for the holy family. Transfer to the airport for overnight flight to Nairobi.
Day 13: Arrival Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you are met by Hallmark Travel Planners representative. You transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel for overnight. Booked on Bed and breakfast mealplan.
Day 14: Drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart at around 0900 for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching drive. Dinner and overnight Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.
Day 15 : Drive from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner & overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 16 and 17: Day in Maasai Mara
Morning and late afternoon game viewing drives in this Reserve, with spectacular sceneries and diverse wildlife. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 18: Drive from Maasai Mara – Nairobi - Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at The Stanley Hotel. Later transfer to the International Airport for scheduled International
