Routing: Arusha-Ngorongoro - Serengeti - Lake Manyara - Arusha.
Day 1: Arrival Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge, a small hotel located on a working coffee plantation on the outskirts of Arusha.
Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro
Leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Arusha. After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will arrive in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Afternoon enjoy the views around the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodger or Lemala Camp.
Day 3: Day in Ngorongoro
After breakfast, descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably one the most stunning game arenas in Tanzania.
It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge or Lemala Camp.
Day 4: Drive from Ngorongoro to Serengeti
After an early breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch at Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Day in Serengeti
Early morning game drive in Serengeti. Breakfast at Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Rest at the lodge till lunchtime. Lunch is served at the lodge. At 1630 hours, game drive in Serengeti till sunset. The Serengeti National park is a arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen there including the “big 5” - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. In May or early June, huge herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra begin their annual spectacular migration northwards. In their wake follow predators, lion, cheetah and wild dogs with vultures circling overhead! Dinner and overnight at Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp.
Day 6: Drive Serengeti to Lake Manyara
Take the last early morning game drive in Serengeti. Then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara national park. Visit Ol Dupai gorge on your way . You arrive Lake Manyara park in time for lunch at Lake Manyara Tree Hotel. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Tree hotel or similar.
Day 7: Drive Lake Manyara to Arusha – Depart
Early morning game in Lake Manyara is followed by breakfast before you leave for the drive back to Arusha town. Transfer to your hotel for day-room use. Later, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport .
