The park and reserve covers an area of 200km.  the Nyali, Bamburi and Shanzu beaches all have access on to the park which has a variety of corals and reef fishes.

Sited in the city of Mombasa the park can be reached by road from the city centre, and then connected by boat from the Mombasa Beach

By Road:
From Nairobi mainly use the Nairobi- Mombasa Highway

By Air:
It is a 45 minute flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Mombasa

At the moment, there is no lodging and accommodation at the marine park and  reserve. Visitors can stay in Mombasa Town which offers various accommodation options. There are lots of luxurious, comfortable and culturally rich hotels beach hotels both on Mombasa north coast and Diani Beach and therse are close enough to the Mombasa Marine National Park.
