Routing: Diani-Tsavo East-Taita Hills-Tsavo West- Amboseli- Diani.
Day 1: Arrival Diani.
On arrival Mombasa, you will be picked up from the airport and transfer to Pinewood Village. You are booked on half board basis. You will have to worry only about your lunch. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive Mombasa to Tsavo National park
After an early breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park at Bachuma Gate. The Tsavo is the largest national in Africa, divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West covers 20,500 square kilometers which is home to Zebra, Impala, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Cheetah, Giraffe and many more. Visit Aruba dam, one of the best places to see Tsavo’s game including Elephant and lion. Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge for lunch followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Manyatta Camp.
Day 3: Drive Tsavo National park to Taita Hills
After an early morning game drive and breakfast drive to Saltlick Lodge. This magnificent lodge is situated right in the heart of a private 28,000 acre game sanctuary between the western and eastern section of Tsavo National park. This complex of thatched towers is perched atop stilts around a natural saltlick. Here you will see elephants trailing their young, the graceful giraffe, numerous species of Antelope and the lion. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Lodge.
Day 4: Drive Taita Hills to Tsavo West
After an early breakfast, proceed further into Tsavo West National park. Tsavo West park has a diversity of scenery with many recent volcanic cones, rock outcrops and lava flows, the most famous being the “Sheitani” lava flow near Kilaguni Lodge. Visit Mzima Springs, the playground of Hippo, Crocodile and tropical fish. The main attraction at Mzima Springs is a submerged observation tank which was designed so that people could watch the hippo's antics underwater, but since it was built the hippos have retreated shyly to the other side of the pool. But you can still get a great view of the fish. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 5: Drive Tsavo West to Amboseli
After breakfast, you depart for Tsavo West National Park. Afternoon game viewing towards Mzima Spring, which forms a haven for rich wildlife pageant with elephant soaking half immersed in the waters, light footed but ponderous looking hippos, crocodiles basking on the bank of the spring; gazelles, zebras and wandering around the banks through the thick acacias and raffia palm together with hundreds of chattering monkeys and birds. Dinner and overnight Kilaguni Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 6: Drive Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, morning drives via the Shaitani lava flow to Amboseli National Park. After lunch proceed for a game drive around the park and to the Mt. Kilimanjaro viewing point, Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Day in Amboseli
After breakfast, full day game activities in the Amboseli game park. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 8: Amboseli to Diani.
After early morning game drive and breakfast, you leave the Amboseli heading to back to Diani. Lunch on the way. Proceed on to Diani and transfer to your hotel - Pinewood Village.
Day 9: Diani Beach.
All morning is free for your relaxation. Lunch on your own account. At around 1700 hours, pick up from the hotel for the Romantic evening Cruise on the Tamarind Evening Dhow. Dinner is served on the arab-style dhow. Live music plays on board. You return to the hotel at around 2200 hours for overnight at the Pinewood Village.
Day 10: Diani Beach.
All day at for your relaxation and shopping in Mombasa. You can take up waters sports and various beach activities. Dinner and overnight at the Pinewood Village.
Day 11: Depart
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport to connect your home-bound flight.
