Routing: Kisumu - Lake Bariingo - Lake Nakuru - Aberdare - Samburu - Nairobi.
Day 1: Drive Kisumu to Lake Baringo
After breakfast at your hotel or guest, depart for the rift valley. You arrive in time for lunch at Soi Safari Lodge. Afternoon bird-watching at the Lake Baringo.
Later drive to Lake Bogoria - popular for hotsprings and steam jets and home to the rare Greater Kudu and migratory flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria Spa Resort
Day 2: Drive Lake Baringo to Lake Nakuru
Breakfast at the resort. Visit the hot springs at Lake Bogoria reserve. Lunch at Lake Bogoria Spa Resort. After lunch, depart for Lake Nakuru National park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp
Day 3: Drive Lake Nakuru to Aberdare
After breakfast, depart driving to Aberdares National Park. You expect to arrive in time for lunch.
The 766 sq. km of the Aberdare area are rich in wildlife. The Salient stretching out towards the nearby town of Nyeri, was once an elephant migration route, not used any more today. These great animals remain within the park together with buffalo, a wide variety of antelope, giant forest hog, the elusive bongo, rhino, lions and hyenas. Tacazze and Malachite Sunbird, Mountain Buzzard and African Goshawk are found in this area where the birdlife is abundant and varied. Day 4: Drive Aberdare to Samburu
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, Hallmark Travel Planners representative will pick you up.
You will begin the drive north out of Nairobi via Mount Kenya past the coffee plantations to the Samburu Game Reserve. This park is noted for its unusual wildlife including the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich. You will have your packed lunch on the way to the reserve. As you enter the reserve you will enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge. Dinner will be served at the Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 5: Day in Samburu
You spend this whole day enjoying game viewing activities and cultural activities too. You may opt to visit a samburu village or a local school on this day. All meals will be served at the at the Samburu Simba lodge.
Day 6: Drive Samburu to Nairobi – Depart
Have another early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast we leave for Nairobi. We drop you off a your hotel or at the airport
