Northern Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you are met by Hallmark Travel Planners representative after customs and immigration procedures. Then you transfer to Arusha town for overnight at Ngurdoto Lodge.
Day 2: Drive Arusha - Tarangire
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Drive Tarangire - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner & overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Drive Ngorongoro – Serengeti National park
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch at the lodge in Serengeti. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 5 and 6: Days in Serengeti National park
Two full days of game viewing in the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 7: Drive Serengeti – Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. Enjoy a mid morning, and then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands. Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. Afternoon visit of the waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or similar.
Day 8: Drive Lake Manyara – Arusha - depart
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other variety of birdlife. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel/ Lodge. After lunch, drive back to Arusha and proceed to JRO for departure flight in the evening.

Children Policy:
Children between the age of 3 and 12years
Pays 60% of the adult rate if sharing a room with two adults
Pays 80% of the adult rate if sharing a room with another child/Children
Pays 100% of the adult rates if sharing a room with one adult

Festive Period Supplements
A supplement of US $40.00 per person will apply on dates - 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January 2013, as Christmas supplement.
A supplement of US $35.00 per person will apply dates 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th of April as Easter supplement
