Route in Tanzania: Serengeti - Ngorongoro - Arusha
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, met by Hallmark Travel Planners’ representative and transfer to the respective Nairobi hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at Sarova Panafric Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Drive Nairobi to Samburu
After an early breakfast at your hotel, commence drive via Karatina and crossing the equator at Nanyuki, en route to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at the respective Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Camp or similar
Day 3: Day in Samburu
Early morning game drive. Breakfast. Optional further game drive. Lunch. Rest till 1630 time for late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Camp or similar.
Day 4: Drive Samburu to Aberdare
Early morning game drive, prior to breakfast at the Lodge. Morning return drive to the Aberdares area, arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel.Afternoon transfer, in Hotel shuttle vehicles, into the Aberdare National Park - to the Treetops for a night of game viewing, from the Lodge precincts. Dinner & overnight at The Treetops Hotel.
Day 5: Drive Aberdare to Lake Nakuru
Return to Outspan Hotel for breakfast. Rejoin your driver/guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching drive. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Day 6: Drive Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
After breakfast commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner & overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Day in Maasai Mara
All day game activities in the maasai mara. Visit of a local village is possible on this day. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge.
Day 8:Drive Maasai Mara to Lake Victoria
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart for Lake Victoria shores You arrive the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isebani are received by our counterparts from Tanzania. Proceed on to the shores of Lake Victoria in time for lunch at Speke Bay Lodge or similar. Afternoon relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay or similar.
Day 9: Drive from Lake Victoria to Serengeti
Proceed with game drive in the Serengeti to Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar.
Day 10: Day in Serengeti
All day game- viewing in the expansive Serengeti plains. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge or similar.
Day 11: Drive Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Early morning game drive. Breakfast. Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area. Stop over at Olduvai Gorge for a brieft visit. Proceed to Ngorongoro Sopa in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at the lodge. Dinner and overnight Ngorongoro Wildlife or similar.
Day 12: Day in Ngorogoro
Breakfast. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for half day game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 13: Drive to Arusha – Depart
Breakfast at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. Depart for Arusha. Onward transfer to Nairobi or to Kilimanjaro Airport for home-bound flight.
