Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro
The tour starts from Arusha. Pick up from your hotel at around 0900 hours. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy the view from the crater rim. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge or similar.
Day 2: Day in Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Lunch at the lodge. After lunch, drive to Serengeti National Park and proceed to the Lobo on the Northern part of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge or similar.
Day 3: Drive Ngorongoro to Serengeti Wilderness
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue driving to Ndutu game area. Lunch at Ndutu Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive till sunset. Ndutu area is on the border between Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Game view en route. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Lodge or similar camp in Ndutu.
Day 4: Game Drives in Serengeti
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart with game drive towards Seronera. Arrive in time for lunch at Seronera Wildlife lodge. Rest till 1630 hours time for game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Day 5: Game Drive in Seronera
Early morning game drive. Breakfast. Further game drive till lunchtime. Rest till 1630 hours. Game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Day 6: Drive from Serengeti to Lake Victoria
Early morning game drive in Serengeti. After breakfast, depart for Lake Victoria. You arrive speke Bay in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the shores of Lake Victoria - Africa's largest fresh water lake. Afternoon at your own leisure around the lake. Dinner and overnight at your lodgel.
Day 7: Drive to Maasai Mara
Early breakfast. Depart for Isebania border. Cross over into Kenya and drive to Maasai Mara with game drive on the Mara plains. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Rest till 1600 hours, time for afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 8: Day in Masai Mara
All day in Masai Mara. Activities include visit to local masai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 9: Depart
Early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Leave the Mara for Nairobi to arrive in the early afternoon. Lunch at Nairobi hotel. Transfer to the airport for home bound flight.
