This short and thrilling safari trip to Masai Mara National Reserve starting from Kisumu city for visitors to Kenya who find themselves with little amount of time after their business is done in Kisumu or other parts of western Kenya. From Kisumu, the Masai Mara Game Reserve is a about 4 hours and 5 hours of leisurely drive through beautiful scenery past the towns of Kericho and Nakuru.

Day 1: Drive from Kisumu to Masai Mara Reserve
At 0700 hours, morning pick up from your hotel, guest house or from the airport in Kisumu by Hallmark Travel Planners’ drive-guide. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will leave Kisumu City with picnic lunch boxes this morning.
The drive from Kisumu to Masai Mara takes between 4 hours to 6 hours depending on the route and the location of the lodge. Picnic lunch on the way. You expect to arrive in time an afternoon game drive in the Mara on your way to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge of choice.

Day 2: Day in Masai Mara – Safari Activities
On this day, you will have 3 game drives during the day and will also be able to enjoy the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. Alternatively, you can take a full day of game drive with picnic lunches in the Masai Mara Reserve.
The famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is easily Kenya’s leading wildlife reserve. It is renowned for its great herds of plain’s game including the black-maned lion, the elusive leopard and agile cheetah. This park also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife available in Kenya. All meals and overnight at your lodge of choice.
